Bay Mills Community College provides a number of student services designed to assist students in succeeding in a college environment. The student support services staff is available to assist students in achieving their academic goals and personal/cultural development.

The Student Handbook is intended to provide Bay Mills Community College students with the information and policies and procedures they should be aware of while attending BMCC. Disability Student Services
The college adheres to the standards and guidelines set forth in the Americans with Disabilities Act. Students with documented disabilities must contact Kelly Bedell, Student Disabilities Coordinator, to receive assistance and accommodations. In addition, BMCC contracts with Michigan Rehabilitation Services to provide a broader range of services. The campus is also barrier free with accessible entrances and exits. Handicap accessible parking is available and clearly identified.
Tutoring services are FREE and provided by peer and professional tutors. Students are encouraged to use the Learning Center to develop their skills in areas such as reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary development, and basic math. Student Success Workshops
The Student Success Workshops are FREE short workshops focused on helping students to be successful in the classroom as well as outside the classroom. If you would like more information on the workshops offered on campus, please stop by the Learning Center.
BMCC Student Laptop and Calculator Lending Program
On-campus students now have the opportunity to check-out a laptop computer or a TI-30 or TI-83/84 scientific calculator. For information on how to check-out a laptop or a calculator, please see Kelly Bedell, Student Support Services Specialist, in room 124, in the Administration Building. If Kelly is not available, please see a staff member in the Learning Center.
College Social Activities and Organizations
Extra-curricular activities are an integral part of student life at Bay Mills Community College. The college encourages students to participate in all activities and clubs sponsored by the Student Council and Student Services personnel. Student Code of Conduct
Bay Mills Community College promotes the integration of traditional Native American values in all educational programs. The seven (7) sacred traditional teachings charge us with seeking the virtues of wisdom, love, respect, bravery, honesty, humility, and truth. In keeping with this spirit, students are expected to behave as mature individuals and to conduct themselves in a manner which is credit to their parents, the college, and their community.
Student Dispute Resolution Procedures
