Class of 2014, Business Administration Program

Question: What brought you to BMCC?

Answer: Drive and determination to change my life brought me to BMCC. Also, I was inspired by my wife (who was a current student at the time) to attend this college as she making great progress and always told me great stories about the instructors there; including about people like Earl King, Duane Bedell, and Ildiko Melis.

Question: What did you do or accomplish at BMCC that has made you the most proud?

Answer: I am proud that I aided in the success of many students who attended classes with me by forming study groups. First study group I ever started was with my wife, and I used the success of that experience as a model for the other groups I've established up until now.

Question: What is your favorite memory or positive experience at BMCC?

Answer: My favorite memories are the classes I've shared with Lorena. We did not share many at all, but being able to start my college career with her by my side for the first year reduced the anxieties and fears I had trying to change my life. My most positive experience includes the time and dedication I offered Daraka McLeod in her struggles with Algebra. With my help, she is now an A student!

Question: What will you leave BMCC with... an associate degree? a certificate? transfer credits?

Answer: I will leave here with an Associate degree in Business Administration with the MACRAO seal.

Question: What are you doing next?

Answer:  I will be attending LSSU in the fall of 2014 to further my education in a Business program.

Question: What piece of advice would you give to incoming students?

Answer: My advice to new students would be to never be afraid to ask questions or ask for help. The faculty, staff, AND students at BMCC can offer you a wealth of knowledge and experience. In the long run though, you still must be willing to put forth your best effort in order to achieve success.
