Student Leadership Conference
On February 2, 2006 Kelly Bedell will be taking a group of studentsto the MIMAEOPP Student Leadership Conference Lansing. The following TRiO students have been selected to attend the conference: Kelsey Bellville, Mike Brown, Loius Coullard, Gina Deuman, Cassy Ellis, Angela Klein, Jason Tremblay, Matt Vance, Jamie Verweibe, and Crystal Wysall. The trip will include: workshops, teambuilding strategies, a tour of Michigan State University and the State Capital, and a scholarship banguet.
Upcoming Trip to Michigan Tech
Nikki Dowd is planning a transfer trip to Michigan Tech and Findlandia Universities on February 23rd-25th. The trip will include campus tours and a performance of "Three Musketeers." If you're interested in going please sign up in the TRiO lab A.S.A.P. See Nikki for further details.
Important
All TRiO students will need to update their Student Success Plans and fulfill the requirements in order to be eligible for TRiO funds, to go on trips, or to check out laptops and calculators.
Professional Tutors for TRiO Students
Judy Webb will be tutoring for lower Math, English, and all Business and Accounting classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:00 to 3:30 p.m.
Paul Ripple will be tutoring for MA 101, MA 102, MA 114, MA 116, and all Science classes on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m.

Seeking New TRiO Students
If you know of any students that are: first generation, pel grant eligible, have a disability, have attended or been advised to take an AE class, or are working toward a degree see Deb LeBlanc as soon as possible. SHe can then determine eligibility for TRiO SSS. Each student for TRiO will recieve a vault, however; there aren't many openings left so act fast!
Tid Bits
Read everything that is posted in the TRiO computer lab (newsletters and flyers). You could be missing out on participating in something that you would really enjoy.
