TRiO SSS Spring Retreat and Recognition Ceremony

This year's Spring Retreat and Recognition Ceremony was held at the Resort inside the Horizons Conference Center on April 16th.

Our guest speaker was former TRiO Student, Tara Ruttley an engineer on the International Space Station. She discussed her struggles of working towards her Ph.D. and offered advice to students who are interested in pursuing higher education.

There were awards and gifts handed out for high G.P.A's, Graduates and Volunteer work. Also there was a special award given to Jackie Lee for her Uncommon Leadership qualities.
