The Spring Retreat and Recognition Ceremony held April 26, 2006 at Bay Mills Resort was a sensation. Troy and Karen Stende, keynote motivational speakers, had TRiO students participate in the motivational activities by getting to know each other and encouraging everyone to let the people who have made a difference in their life know just how important they are. Some of the other speakers included Mickey Parish, Kelsey Belleville and Mike Brown.
