We are very pleased that you have decided to visit our site, and invite you to look around and see what we have to offer. Although we are the "virtual" area of Bay Mills Community College, we would like to stress that, behind everything we do, from pre-registration through graduation, there is a real person. We are available to answer your questions, and will provide you with the information you need to succeed in meeting your educational and professional goals.

If you are a new student, we want to thank you for considering Bay Mills Community College as your educational provider.

If you have previously taken online classes at Bay Mills Community College, please read the following information, as we have made several recent policy changes:

Bay Mills Community College is pleased to offer the Board of Regents Scholarship to students meeting the following criteria:

  • Must be a member of a Michigan Federally Recognized Tribe and submit documentation.
  • Must maintain a minimum 2.0 Grade Point Average
  • At least one-half or 50% of all credits taken during any given semester must be taken on campus. 
    • Please be aware that enrollment in online classes or off-campus classes after you have enrolled on campus can cancel your eligibility if you fall below the 50% on campus rule.
  • Student must display good moral character to remain eligible. (BMCC student handbook will be used for definition of expected good moral behavior).

Registration closes January 9. Classes run January 19—May 1.

Summer 2009
Registration closes May 1. Classes run May 11—August 21.

Fall 2009
Registration closes August 21. Classes run September 7—December 18

When you fill out the online admission and registration forms, they will automatically be sent to our Registration Coordinator. You will receive, via e-mail, an enrollment checklist. This checklist will outline the steps that you will need to complete before being officially enrolled at Bay Mills Community College. Because of the extremely high volume of e-mails that the Coordinator receives on a weekly basis, please allow one business week for processing your admission and registration forms.

Please be aware that just completing the application DOES NOT enroll you in a course. This is only the first step in the enrollment process. You must complete all steps on the enrollment checklist before being officially enrolled as a BMCC student.

Note: The most common reason that student registration is delayed is missing transcripts. In order to expedite the registration and enrollment processes, please use the following Transcript Request Form to request official copies of your transcripts from your high school and/or previous college(s). BMCC will not be able to proceed with the registration and enrollment until we have received all necessary transcripts.

For the most part, all communication between BMCC and our online students takes place via e-mail. However, if you should need to contact the college by telephone, please call 800-844-BMCC.
